l live in Ecuador but am always sceptical about visiting Guayaquil coz of crazy stories I have heard (high crime rates ,kidnapping etc )but am glad to enjoyed your stay bro 👍

Having been to Barbados many times, i have to say you're wrong about the lack of food choices. Granted, there's a lot of fish, but it's a Caribbean Island after all. For caves you should have gone to Harrison's Caves. Amazing and full of the history of the island and the indigenous people. You definitely went to Oistins too early. Minimum 7pm is a start, but it gets going much later....
I still feel the same about the food. Maybe it's because of where we're staying. It seems there's a consensus that I definitely went too early 😅😅😅 Definitely when we gu back will be sure to head out a bit later. Thanks for watching, Cheers 🍻

That dish is a locro (the soup) with seafood on top, it's not quite a national dish but an invention from that restaurant. Looks delicious though, i will give it a try soon. Hope you enjoyed Quito!

@@marykk6246 honestly, 5% is seen as awesome, but when I tipped 10% or more they seemed extremely happy and grateful about it, so between 5%-10%. I definitely will always tip high if the service was great. Thanks for watching! Saludos! 🍻
I refuse to believe everyone is sad and angry in their hearts. It’s my 3rd day here and I’m still looking for glow in peoples eyes. Even if for seconds… I understand it’s a beaten city and struggle to forgive still perhaps. Then we come parade with our freedom… I just booked two more days but now I’m going to the buda side since overall, at least the mini market owner was nice

Next time try Pebbles beach, go later to Oistins and there are tons of food options, need to hang out where the locals hang...rum shops. Lol

@@CultureShockAddict they are literally everywhere and alot of them sell food. Bird's bar is Bay Street is a popular one and its right across the road from Browne's Beach.
I know this is old and it can be educational for those that come to Cali. I am not sure why this video is not viral at all ?? You actually got footage of an actual robbery. No RUclipsr has accomplished this. There should be a reel about this to all social media instead of videos like the “hawk tuah” girl. This should of been bigger !! Because even after a year from this footage still happens everyday here. Those were probably the same mother MF’s who took my girlfriend’s Iwatch. It could of been a lot worse because she left her iPhone and her wallet behind but she forgot to take her iwatch off while walking down the street to the store. This was broad day light too, NOT NIGHT TIME. On the other hand, 10,000 pesos bro !?? Really !! Those waiters probably saved your life by allowing you to stay there until you was safe. I hope you gave them a lot more the next day. They deserve all the credit in this video.
Suggestion: you were lucky walking in that place at 4:30am, you shouldn't do that again haha

I moved to Cuenca 5 years ago and have never had a better life than right here!!! The city is absolutely magnificent and there is absolutely nothing I miss about USA ..except shoes my size lol.. I am here for life and never leaving this magical place

If you ever return to Cuenca, Ecuador, you must go to the tourist attraction called Turi!! There are some clubs and some carnival rides!

@@WaineYam Honestly, I would say it was definitely a bit steep and only one meal was included. I didn't feel comfortable renting a car to see the ruins myself, so I decided to just go with the tour. We are from the Galveston, Texas area, and we found the temperatures to be wonderful, not cold. Wonderful music. Fantastic and inexpressive restaurants. You walked right past Resaurante Don Colón on your way to Terra. Don Colón is so delicious and inexpensive.

I’m here watching your video and really wanting to return home. You missed the whole buzz of Oistins if you left at 7pm, you get the atmosphere from around 8pm onwards. Also that’s the quietest I’ve ever seen the Gap and surprised you didn’t see the flowers in the cave that open and close when you get near to them. Great video, I so need to go back.
I KNOW!!! I really didn't want to leave Oistins at that time but were really tired. Also, I was completely surprised that the GAP wasn't more lively as well, especially since EVERYONE said it would be the place to be on the weekends. Overall, really enjoyed my time there!
